Since the last time I wrote, I received my DS-2019 and paid my SEVIS fee, I saw Zootopia, which was AMAZING, seriously if you haven’t seen it yet, go NOW, it’s worth it!! I went bowling with some people going to Disney, which was fun, as always :P, and I finished almost every homework I had left to do! All that is left is 100 words in Italian and a 4 page essay in French about what I find hard when revising a text. After that, it’s going to be only exams and after that… Summer!!
The next 10 days are going to be really boring since all I have to do is work and go to school and 2 exams, but they will bring me 10 days closer to the day I leave for Disney!!

It’s incredible! In 60 days, I will be leaving for Orlando! And in 44 days, it will be my last day of school ever! Life is pretty good right now! So, what’s up? Well, we had two huge snowstorms last week, but the forecast says there won’t be any days under 0 °C in the next two weeks so hopefully winter is over for this year. One of the storms we had was so bad we had to cancel our brunch with the Disney crew because almost no one was able to go in that weather. But we will have more events and they will be even better haha! Disney on ice was amazing! We had so much fun and it was beautiful and magical and just what I needed to get me through the rest of semester. After the show, we had dinner with Caroline at the restaurant where Julie works and it was great to catch up with them. I see Sarah-Maude every week because we have a class together, but I never get to see Anipier, Caroline and Julie, so we had a lot to catch up on. Next week, I have an interview to be a French language assistant in the United Kingdom next year. I am a little nervous, but excited at the same time. It will be a new adventure :). Since reading week is over, I will be pretty busy for the rest of the semester, but not too busy to answer your questions if you do have any so feel free to message me and I will post again in 10 days :). After spending three months with the same people in the most magical place on earth, it is hard to go back to reality and only see your friends on FaceTime or Facebook. So whenever we can get together, I love to see my Disney friends! Some of us live in the same city, but we rarely get to see each other because of our busy schedules, but Christmas vacations are the perfect occasion to spend some time with good friends. Laurie, Catherine and I went to the movies to see the new Hunger Games and later to the restaurant to get updated on each other's life. While we were eating, Laurie had the idea that we should go to the Festi-Lumière (Light Festival) at the aquarium. Since Anipier was in Quebec from January 3rd to January 6th, we thought it would be the perfect time to all go together. So on the night of January 3rd, Laurie, Catherine, Julie, Anipier and I made our way to Quebec's aquarium for a fun night in the cold Canadian winter. It was totally worth it though because it was absolutely beautiful. It was great to see Anipier as well since I hadn't seen her since August! Here are some pictures of our adventures! |
AuthorHello everyone! My name is Marie-Ève. I am from Québec, Canada and this blog is about my summer as a cast member in Walt Disney World. Since most of my family and friends speak French, everything on this blog will be written both in English and French. Archives
