It’s the end of the semester at school. So many essays, so tired…zzzzzzz But it’s almost over! In 23 days I will be done with school forever! I had a 1000 word essay to hand in today with a drawing of a building and an oral presentation and a revision homework which took me at least 20 hours to do and is only worth 10% and I have another homework to hand in on Thursday, a translation and a 500 word essay on Friday and so much more next week! I can’t wait to get my life back!
Since I will be doing homework all day tomorrow and won’t be able to write another word come 7 o’clock, Laurie and I are going to the movie theatre to finally see Zootopia! I am so excited! Apparently it is a great movie! We are also going bowling on Sathurday night with the Disney people. It is going to be so much fun! I can’t wait to see them! I got an email yesterday from FedEx that says I should get my DS-2019 tomorrow. After that, I will be able to pay my SEVIS fee and all will be done until we get the DORMS email in about 25 days and everything will be paid for until I leave! Time is going by faster than I thought it would! I will be in Disney before I know it!

You know how in the children’s books, on Easter morning, the children find their chocolate eggs hidden in the grass and behind flowerbeds? Well the people who wrote these books definitely did not live in Quebec City or the children would have had to wait for May to find their chocolate. But whether you found your eggs inside or in the garden this morning, I hope you are having an Easter full of love and chocolate with your family and friends.
I have been soooo busy lately! My life is crazy right now! I have so much homework to hand in in the next few weeks, it’s the end of the semester at the pool so I have all the evaluations to fill out and I have a few replacements at the pool coming up. But, there are also good things in the near future! Like the sleep over at Laurie’s chalet with the Disney people tonight. We are going to watch movies and talk and have fun and I can’t wait!
Also, Easter is next weekend so I will have an extra day of weekend and no work on Sunday because the pool will be closed so I can catch up on all the homework I should have done during reading week. The fact that my family won’t be home all weekend should really help me stay focused. I can’t wait for the summer! We all thought spring was here when the temperature rose above 0 °C for a couple of days last week, but apparently it was only a bad joke since it is pretty cold right now and we had some more snow this week. I really need a vacation. Hopefully, the next ten days go by faster then the last ten! It’s incredible! In 60 days, I will be leaving for Orlando! And in 44 days, it will be my last day of school ever! Life is pretty good right now! So, what’s up? Well, we had two huge snowstorms last week, but the forecast says there won’t be any days under 0 °C in the next two weeks so hopefully winter is over for this year. One of the storms we had was so bad we had to cancel our brunch with the Disney crew because almost no one was able to go in that weather. But we will have more events and they will be even better haha! Disney on ice was amazing! We had so much fun and it was beautiful and magical and just what I needed to get me through the rest of semester. After the show, we had dinner with Caroline at the restaurant where Julie works and it was great to catch up with them. I see Sarah-Maude every week because we have a class together, but I never get to see Anipier, Caroline and Julie, so we had a lot to catch up on. Next week, I have an interview to be a French language assistant in the United Kingdom next year. I am a little nervous, but excited at the same time. It will be a new adventure :). Since reading week is over, I will be pretty busy for the rest of the semester, but not too busy to answer your questions if you do have any so feel free to message me and I will post again in 10 days :). |
AuthorHello everyone! My name is Marie-Ève. I am from Québec, Canada and this blog is about my summer as a cast member in Walt Disney World. Since most of my family and friends speak French, everything on this blog will be written both in English and French. Archives
