12 days - Draw a Disney character you have never drawn beforeUnfortunately I won't be drawing a new character today. I'm still sick and I had my last exam today so I really don't have the energy. I'm sorry! I will still show you some of the characters I have drawn recently and, if I'm feeling better, I will draw a new one tomorrow.

13 days - Disney nail artI woke up this morning feeling sick :(. Hopefully it's just a cold and I will get better quickly. This is so not the time to be getting sick. Even though I'm not feeling that great, I still completed my challenge of the day! Today's challenge was to paint my nails in a Disney theme. I'm not an artist so obviously I didn't paint the princesses on my nails, but I still think I did pretty well. What do you think?
I'm not showing you the right hand because I'm right handed so if you think the left hand looks bad, imagine my right hand lol! 14 days - Add 1 thing to my Bucket ListAbout 70 days ago, when I had just received my offer to work at Walt Disney World this summer, I wrote my bucket list. Since I have been watching vlogs and reading blogs for about 70 days, I decided that one of my 15 days challenge would be to add something to my bucket list. This is what it looked like at first:
And I will add:
UPDATE We got the DORMS email this morning!! We can only link 3 other people to be our roommates, but it's fine since I only have one roommate for now. I will have surprise roommates when I get there which will be fun! I completed and printed the whole thing and now I am officially ready to leave and so excited. :D 15 days - Make a paper Disney CountdownYes, you read that right! 15 days to go and I have a little surprise for you. :D Every day I will be doing a special Disney related activity to help me wait for Disney World and I will show you every part of it. First, lets make a paper countdown! Pinterest is great for ideas and you can find a lot of very cool Disney countdowns on there.
Since I have my Spanish final exam tonight so, nothing better to do :P, I decided to make an Up countdown. I have a balloon for every day left and, of course, Carl and Ellie's house! What do you think? Now I have to study so I'll talk to you tomorrow for another special activity :) Marie-Ève Only 20 short, but still too long days left! I can't believe it! I am so ready to leave!
I am almost done with my exams and homework, but I have so much going on. Everyone is getting really excited to leave so there are a lot of questions and projects on the Facebook group. I am trying to work as many hours as I can even now during my finals, but it's hard when no one needs a replacement... The temperature is finally nice outside so I spend a lot of time working out and studying outside even though it is still a little bit chilly (in 20 days it's going to be way too hot outside haha). As I promised, I have something special coming for the last 15 days before my arrival date and I am pretty excited about it. Talk to you later :) Yes, 30 days left! Nothing interesting has happened in the last ten days. We are just waiting at the moment. Some people have started shopping for their Traditions attire and it seems like a big deal to everyone, but I still have the dresses I wore last year for training so I might go shopping after I finish school, but it is not a priority for me.
That's all for now. I just wanted to say that it's officially 30 days before the beginning of our program. I'll talk to you in a few days. Happy Easter everyone! I hope you are enjoying your time with your family and friends and are having as much fun as possible. Remember not to eat too much chocolate and, if you are lucky enough to be in Walt Disney World right now, make the most of your Disney Vacation and go say hi to the Easter Bunny for me! :D This is not a joke even though it's April 1st today. There are really only 40 days left before Disney World!
Only 4 short weeks and school will be officially over! It's going to go by so fast! In other news, I went to the optometrist and I need glasses. I should get them in a week or two so I'll upload a picture when I get them. I am really excited about it because I have known for a long time that I need glasses I was just too lazy to get an appointment, but at the same time, wearing glasses kinda sucks when you work in a pool... I guess I'll see how it goes and I can always get contacts. Nothing much is happening in my life right now. My exams start in a few weeks, but for now it's really chill. Hopefully the student strike will not affect me and I can finish the semester on the scheduled date. I will keep posting in the Disney International College Program section and if you have any questions about my life or the program you can ask them in the comments and I will answer them as soon as I can. P.S.: I'm still looking for roommates for this summer so if you are under 21 and checking-in on May 12 and are interested in being my roommate contact me by email, Facebook or leave a comment. :) |
AuthorHello everyone! My name is Marie-Ève. I am from Québec, Canada and this blog is about my summer as a cast member in Walt Disney World. Since most of my family and friends speak French, everything on this blog will be written both in English and French. Archives
